Join us for a hands-on art-making series led by artist Terese Edestam.
We’ll create art pieces inspired by works from the collection of di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art and explore various mediums, including collage, pastels, assemblage, and sculpture.
Each workshop kicks off with a thoughtful conversation about a selected reference artwork, guided by Hugo Corro, the Associate Director of Education at di Rosa. In our first session we draw inspiration from Bruce Conner’s Mexico Collage. Together, we will craft a multimedia collage that reflects our vision of a future America. We will use images from magazines, colored and patterned papers, paint, and more to create meaningful metaphors and dreams.
This series welcomes everyone, from beginners to seasoned artists. Come ready to explore, create, and share your artistic journey with us.
