Monarch butterflies are in steep decline. In this talk, Carrie Strohl will share a simple action framework to support the survival of the monarch butterfly.

Through examples drawn from children’s literature, she will explore the monarch’s extraordinary life cycle and the remarkable migration journey of both Eastern and Western populations.

The event will conclude with an invitation to join a book club for Bicycling with Butterflies by Sara Dykman, available for purchase from Napa Bookmine at the event. Join us and discover how you can make a difference.

Our presenter, Carrie Strohl, is a social scientist, nonprofit leader, and therapeutic horticulture practitioner. She is currently leading the Monarch Education Project.
